Demon Slayer | Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train DVD Release Announced


Kimetsu no Yaiba aka Demon Slayer being one of the most popular anime of the last decade left us on a huge cliff hanger. Later the airing of the last episode, a movie which was said to be the direct sequel to the anime was announced and was theatrically released on October 16, 2020 (Japan). Its been almost half a year and we are still waiting for the DVD to release. But boys I have a good news for you all, Mugen Train Movie will be officially released in Blu-Ray and DVD on 16 June 2021.


This movie has created a lot of records breaking the Box Office Record Japan and became the highest grossing film in japan #1 Kimetsu No Yaiba : Mugen Train making Spirited Away(2001) in #2 spot. It also broke the first day record collecting a revenue of $12.03 Million.

Directed By Haruo Sotozaki the story of this movie is sequel to the Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series. The Plot follows where Tanjiro and his companions board on a train in order to join and help Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku in his mission where he has to kill a demon, who has slayen a lot of demon slayers. After boarding the train all of them fall asleep in a mysterious way and Emmu, who is one of the twelve kizuki tries to destroy their soul while they are asleep. But Tanjiro realises that he has been dreaming the whole while and tries to break out of the dream. Telling you more of the story won't be fun. Lets just wait a few more days and find out what happens to Tanjiro and his companions.
